About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct telephone triage to assess patient needs and prioritize calls by urgency
  • Respond promptly to emergent, urgent, and non-urgent patient inquiries
  • Develop and deliver individualized patient education on diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and high standards of care
  • Serve as a cardiac health resource and educator for office staff and the broader community
  • Monitor and manage abnormal test results
  • Facilitate appropriate referrals and follow-ups
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and care provided

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • An active Washington Registered Nurse License at the time of hire
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association, obtained before starting
  • Ideally, at least 1 year of nursing experience
  • Specialized experience in cardiology, PCU, ICU, or ER/ED is encouraged
  • 2 years of RN experience in an outpatient or hospital setting is encouraged
  • Must work Monday–Friday; clinic is closed weekends and holidays
