About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead category sourcing for assigned indirect categories, potentially including Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Energy and Facilities
Support key stakeholders as the primary sourcing business partner for assigned indirect categories
Source indirect goods and services with suppliers
Initiate, negotiate, finalize, and maintain indirect supplier contracts
Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) events
Drive purchasing discipline and compliance with internal stakeholders
Review and approve BuyNow purchase requests and new supplier setups
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to secure favorable contract and purchasing terms
Leverage spend analytics and market intelligence to identify cost optimization opportunities
Develop relationships with category business partners to determine sourcing needs
Execute competitive bidding, negotiation, contracting, and technical continuous improvement processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred
3+ years of experience in a related field preferred, including strategic sourcing (indirect), category management, supplier management and negotiation experience
Effective communication in English and presentation skills
Ability to communicate successfully with all levels of the organization and external supplier partners
Strong financial acumen
Strong project and process management skills
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of industry and market conditions
Knowledge of SAP and SAP Ariba is a plus
