About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Order and replenish stocking locations daily
- Process on-demand requests
- Manage and maintain asset locations, including housekeeping
- Manage customer relationships
- Provide back-order resolution and mitigation
- Perform physical inventory on all SKUs monthly and record counts
- Generate monthly one-page customer reports
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for action
- Right-size inventory through consolidation, PAR level review, and SKU rationalization
- Define and execute projects and track them through project plans
- Track expirations and manage disposition
- Submit timecards and manage expense counts
- Manage and maintain point-of-use locations
- Complete in-house eLearning
- Maintain vendor credentialing compliance
- Act as a customer-facing liaison, provide product information, and resolve customer problems
- Support inventory efficiency, process improvements, and change management across clinical departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in inventory management, healthcare, or project management preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Customer service, problem solving and analytical skills highly desired
- Customer/Vendor credentialing may be required, including vaccinations
- Ability to work on-site at various customer locations within New Jersey
- Monday-Friday availability for 6am–2:30pm/3:00pm or 8am-5pm schedules
- Optional travel up to 30%, depending on business needs and employee preference
