About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze new capabilities and changing business needs to inform Information Technology solutions
Investigate business operations, identify causes behind results, and articulate business impact
Partner with functional experts to define project scope and evaluate business cases
Lead stakeholder elicitation sessions to develop process flows, requirements, rules, and documentation
Collaborate with subject matter experts on user acceptance testing and change management
Communicate project status and technical concepts to stakeholders and project partners
Summarize and present project results to business leaders and senior leaders
Manage vendor relationships and external parties for project execution and system integration
Mentor less experienced Business Analysis professionals
Own end-to-end SAP Operations of the 3PL business, including incident management, problem resolution, change management, and release governance
Ensure 99%+ system availability and performance SLAs across SAP modules and integrated platforms
Manage SAP transport landscape, system refresh cycles, and DEV/QA/PRD environment governance
Drive root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement permanent corrective actions
Lead and develop a team of SAP functional analysts and technical developers
Optimize SAP operations, reduce manual effort, and improve process efficiency
Ensure SAP operations comply with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards
Maintain operational documentation and support internal and external audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

8-12 years of experience (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience
Advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA business functions and 3PL SAP operations
Experience with incident management, problem resolution, change management, and release governance
Experience managing SAP transport landscapes, system refresh cycles, and DEV/QA/PRD environment governance
Experience with root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions
Experience leading SAP functional analysts and technical developers across multiple modules
Knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance requirements, and audit standards
Ability to maintain accurate system configuration, integration, and operational documentation
Ability to support internal and external audits
Ability to work with vendors and external parties to achieve system integration
