About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own quality performance across RN, provider, PSS, and Engager calls and documentation, as well as organization-wide clinical quality outcomes
  • Define and maintain quality standards, audit criteria, and scorecards
  • Set the quality strategy and roadmap with the SVP of Clinical Services
  • Monitor HEDIS and other quality measures and align reviews with gap closure and improved results
  • Hire, supervise, and develop Quality Reviewers; assign workload and manage daily operations
  • Conduct reviewer calibration sessions
  • Coach and mentor Quality Reviewers in chart review, call evaluation, and provider feedback
  • Manage reviewer one-on-ones, feedback, and development plans
  • Design and maintain quality dashboards and reporting tools
  • Build and analyze datasets to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Use Excel, reporting tools, and QA platforms to turn audit data into actionable insights
  • Present findings, trends, and recommendations to executive leadership
  • Partner with clinical leadership on improvement plans and targeted education
  • Ensure documentation and interactions meet internal standards, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as subject matter expert on quality standards
  • Participate in incident reviews, root cause analyses, and internal or external audits
  • Collaborate with operations, compliance, and QA-adjacent teams on metrics, workflows, and reporting
  • Report to the SVP of Clinical Services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required; multi-state license compact
  • 3+ years of clinical experience, including telehealth, ambulatory, or chronic care management preferred
  • Prior experience in quality management, quality assurance, or clinical audit within a healthcare setting
  • Supervisory or team-lead experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent computer skills, including demonstrated experience building and analyzing data (e.g., dashboards, spreadsheets, quality scorecards, BI tools)
  • Comfortable using EMRs, CRM platforms, call recording tools, and QA dashboards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deliver direct, constructive feedback to providers, RNs, and clinical staff
  • Sound clinical judgment and a rigorous, data-driven approach to quality
  • Effective people leadership and reviewer development skills
  • Windows or Apple (macOS) computer only; no Chromebooks, Linux machines, or smartphones
  • Windows 10 or macOS 14 Sonoma minimum
  • Intel Core i5 or AMD equivalent (Windows) or Apple Silicon (Macs)
  • 16 GB RAM
  • Wired headphones required; no built-in microphones
  • Minimum internet speed of 100 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload
  • Ethernet cable connecting computer directly to router
  • Google Chrome with Amazon Workspaces
  • Webcam required for video calls
  • Reliable internet connectivity and secure, private workspace
