About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement strategies for designated key customers to expand demand, improve margin growth, and extend strategic partnerships
  • Establish long-term customer partnerships and clarify mid-to-long-term customer needs
  • Develop and agree on specifications of customer requirements
  • Collect external market insights to understand competitors and influence trends
  • Define and deliver customer value propositions
  • Build and nurture internal networks to deliver optimal solutions
  • Lead collaboration with internal stakeholders and define long-term strategy
  • Use tailored storytelling to inspire customers and support their strategic objectives
  • Provide expert thought leadership and identify issues or problems through research and interpretation
  • Collaborate with the Global Partner Innovation Leader for Yum Brands, customers, and Cargill innovation teams to identify emerging consumer, menu, operational, and supply chain opportunities
  • Foster internal partnerships that enable a seamless One Cargill customer experience
  • Support revenue, margin, volume, and strategic growth objectives across the account portfolio
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience understanding customer context, uncovering customer key performance indicators, articulating customer objectives, and adding value to partnerships
  • Experience in business development in highly competitive, mature markets
  • Culinary degree or significant experience in the field (preferred)
  • Experience working with and established relationships with Taco Bell and Yum Brands more broadly (preferred)
