About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement, test, troubleshoot and improve electrical automation and controls systems
  • Increase production quality, efficiency and volume
  • Support development and implementation of electrical engineering standards, policies, procedures and job aids
  • Provide input to cross-functional teams selecting and implementing tools and methodologies
  • Provide direct support and delivery of services for the organization
  • Support planning and implementation of electrical engineering standards and deliverables in capital projects
  • Execute tactical development and delivery oversight of electrical engineering vision, direction and strategy
  • Identify opportunities and bridge electrical engineering gaps by establishing auditing control mechanisms
  • Develop recommendations and implement solutions to improve performance and identify acceptable risk tolerance
  • Handle complex issues independently with minimal supervision and escalate the most complex issues appropriately
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Experience with electrical power distribution
  • Industrial Power Systems knowledge
  • Availability for travel, around 40%
  • Lean Six Sigma preferred
  • Project management and process safety management experience preferred
  • Visa sponsorship will not be provided
