About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate engagement with local and regional leadership teams in the Livestock POD
- Partner with site leaders to protect people, product, and planet
- Support regulatory and management system compliance
- Identify and reduce operational risk and strengthen operational discipline
- Develop organizational technical capability and promote a proactive safety culture
- Align EHS strategies across sites, engineering, and leadership teams
- Lead implementation and sustainment of the EHS management system
- Lead EHS risk identification, prioritization, and verification of risk controls
- Oversee compliance with EHS regulations and legal obligations
- Conduct incident investigations, verify corrective actions, and share key learnings
- Lead employee training, safety communications, toolbox talks, and related programs
- Track performance indicators, analyze trends, prepare reports, and recommend improvements
- Manage team members through resource allocation, performance expectations, coaching, development, and accountability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 4 years of relevant EHS work experience in industry/manufacturing
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing others
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical area (Sciences, Engineering, EHS) preferred
- Technical certification in an EHS discipline (ASP/CSP/ERM) preferred
- Process Safety experience for combustible dust preferred
- Experience in project management preferred
- Experience in self-directed work/remote work preferred
