Manager – Commercial Education

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, manage, and deploy the core curriculum for organizational new hires
- Design agendas and training materials and facilitate training classes
- Assess commercial team performance and identify regional, national, and role-specific training needs and competency gaps
- Collaborate to devise training plans for improvement
- Organize, lead, and present virtual and in-person trainings
- Travel with commercial team members to learn about field challenges and provide just-in-time coaching feedback
- Collaborate with Learning & Technology vendors
- Maintain understanding of company products, systems, and processes to develop training
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects and prioritize tight deadlines
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools to create training materials and reports
- Create clear, grammatically correct communications and training documents
- Explore and present tools and industry trends to enhance Commercial Education effectiveness
- Measure and report training program effectiveness against predefined goals
- Collaborate with the Commercial Education Team, Senior Management, Sales Leadership, Marketing, field personnel, and other departments
- Submit travel itineraries, activity reports, monthly reports, and expense reports accurately and timely
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Training and development experience in a biotech or healthcare related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in healthcare sales
- Experience successfully coaching others
- Proven ability to effectively present to small and large audiences
- Must be a self-starter requiring little supervision
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Experience in the oncology sales field (preferred)
- Some evenings/weekends may be required
- Must successfully complete pre-employment process, including criminal background check, drug screening, applicable credit check, and reference verification
- Must possess ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- May be required to lift routine office/training supplies and use standard office equipment
