About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct root cause analysis and solve basic to complex data challenges
- Leverage systems and databases to retrieve data
- Become a subject matter expert in system data
- Identify critical data elements and translate them into key business metrics
- Maintain existing business reporting and monitoring dashboards for all areas of CAF
- Assist in designing and developing report and dashboard enhancements
- Learn and utilize different tools, processes, and services
- Work with mentors and peers to develop advanced technical and analytical skills
- Provide front line support for system data-related questions or issues
- Evaluate business needs and independently translate insights into meaningful business solutions through business knowledge and data analysis
- Work independently in a collaborative, fast-paced, teamwork-centric, and evolving environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in an analytical or technical major
- 1-3 years of experience in an analytical or technical role
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Experience required in SQL and DBMS technology
- Snowflake preferred
- Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other major data application acceptable
- Experience preferred in SSRS/PowerBI
- Experience preferred in Tableau
- Experience preferred in Python
- Experience preferred in GitHub or other version control software
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Sponsorship will not be considered for this specific role
