About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and improve operations, including business systems, processes, and policies, to support customer satisfaction and corporate goals
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of support services, including quoting, order entry, and invoicing
  • Coordinate and communicate between support and business functions
  • Drive initiatives contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Develop and sustain relationships with Business Units, Logistics, Purchasing, Sales Force, International Operations, Credit, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance
  • Identify training initiatives and continuous operational improvement activities
  • Lead daily problem solving to mitigate risk and customer dissatisfaction
  • Create and lead a positive, team-oriented, customer-focused, and quality-driven work environment
  • Re-engineer the department to meet changing organizational and business needs
  • Provide technical and functional expertise for problem resolution
  • Lead talent selection, growth and development, succession planning, and departmental performance management
  • Develop and maintain departmental metrics
  • Ensure adherence to departmental processes, compliance guidelines, and customer service best practices
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma required
  • Prefer a Two to Four-year degree from an accredited institution
  • 6 years of account management experience required
  • Minimum of 4 years of people management experience preferred
  • Adherence to departmental processes and corporate and regulatory guidelines
  • Customer service best practices knowledge
