About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Inspect and maintain air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units
- Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, including thermostatic controls and liquid lines
- Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal control systems
- Service rooftop units, gas packs, heat pumps, split systems, and related controls
- Assemble and install metal ductwork and assist in HVAC system planning and design
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure compliance with City, State, and EPA regulations
- Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with management to support safety and operational standards
- Provide expert, quality commercial HVAC service in the field
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
- Ability to push / pull / lift 50 lbs
- EPA Universal Certification
- Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb a ladder and work on rooftops
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid and current Driver’s License
- Must be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier
- Basic understanding of building automation controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Salesforce and ServiceMax is a plus
