About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage tracking and shipping processes
- Track the flow of critical parts through supplier facilities from raw materials to final delivery
- Identify potential supply chain disruptions early and build recovery plans for shortages or capacity constraints
- Provide daily status reports, maintain open order reports, and brief leadership on delivery commitments
- Investigate reasons for delivery failures and apply corrective actions
- Partner with procurement, quality assurance, and operations teams to remove bottlenecks
- Manage delivery assurance processes and achieve day-to-day delivery assurance objectives
- Implement solutions for shipment coordination, sub-process suppliers, and technical assistance to ensure on-time delivery
- Identify root causes impacting on-time delivery
- Implement process improvements and deploy delivery assurance systems to ensure early identification of shortages
- Collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements and minimize negative business impacts from shortages
- Ensure timely delivery of materials required for production of assigned complex components
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Strong experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using SAP
- Practical to substantial knowledge of organizational programs, systems, and processes, with the ability to identify improvements and apply them in day-to-day operations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- English proficiency
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
