About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in startup and commissioning of new units at a state-of-the-art facility
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions
- Execute regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units
- Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents, including blueprints and diagrams
- Cultivate strong customer relationships
- Escalate issues for resolution when necessary
- Adhere to licensing requirements and operate equipment safely
- Recognize HVAC-related hazards
- Complete safety training and implement effective safety measures
- Work independently and collaboratively as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician servicing the El Paso, Texas area
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
- 3+ years working with centrifugal chillers
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs
- EPA Universal certification
- Ability to stand, crawl, sit, and squat for extended periods
- Ability to climb a ladder and work on rooftops
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid and current driver’s license
- Must be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier
- Basic understanding of building automation controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Salesforce and ServiceMax is a plus
