About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships with hyperscalers and colocation providers
  • Develop tailored one-stop-shop solutions for new facilities, chillers, airside systems, controls and service
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management and rapid issue resolution
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Acquire new customers, develop proposals and lead negotiations
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors and emerging technologies
  • Coordinate internal teams across Engineering, Operations and Customer Service
  • Report on project status, sales pipeline and decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with product experts and the technical team
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field
  • Basic technical understanding of HVAC systems is an advantage, but not required
  • At least 5 years of experience in account management, sales or business development—ideally in the data center or technology sector
  • Proven success managing large, complex customer accounts and a demonstrable track record of sales achievement
  • In-depth knowledge of hyperscalers, cloud service providers and the data center market
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and teamwork skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings and industry events
