About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify prospective opportunities for existing accounts and prospects
  • Develop professional customer relationships and understand customer needs
  • Suggest products and services that meet customer needs

  • Support and develop prospective projects with assigned and prospective customers

  • Attend trade shows and present new products
  • Prepare workshops for assigned customers
  • Manage construction-tier relationships within assigned counties
  • Target new design-build commercial office, healthcare, critical-environment, education, and government facilities
  • Produce new customer relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability and willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory, with quarterly overnight travel required
  • Experience selling HVAC Controls
  • Experience in a quota carrying position
  • Demonstrate experience in cultivating new customer relationships
  • Proven experience executing plan and spec projects within the commercial sector
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including the ability to develop and present high-impact presentations to stakeholders
