About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute category and commodity strategies aligned with business objectives and manufacturing priorities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract management to deliver cost savings and long-term value
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to improve quality, delivery, innovation, and overall supplier performance
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and New Product Development teams to support sourcing decisions and business growth
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, supplier risk mitigation, and cost optimization through data-driven decision making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience leading Category or Commodity Management strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management (SRM), and total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead complex sourcing initiatives in a global organization
- Experience supporting New Product Development (NPD) initiatives and engineering-driven sourcing projects is nice to have
- Exposure to global sourcing strategies and international supplier management is nice to have
- Experience implementing cost reduction, supplier development, or continuous improvement initiatives is nice to have
