Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Experience leading embedded product software development and owning technical risks
  • Experience resolving field issues
  • Ability to handle firmware development independently
  • Strong knowledge of embedded concepts
  • Experience developing solutions on microcontrollers
  • Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux and RTOS such as embOS
  • Proficiency in Embedded C, C++, and algorithms
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Experience with BACnet over IP/serial, Ethernet, RS-485, SPI, SCI, I2C, TCP/IP, and serial communication interfaces
  • Hands-on experience with bootloaders, analog and discrete I/O signals, and scheduling algorithms
  • Understanding of microcontrollers and bare-metal programming
  • Hands-on experience developing IoT device firmware and IoT stacks
  • Understanding of compiler toolchains such as CCRX and GNU
  • Understanding of the HVAC domain
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio, IBM Jazz, Azure DevOps, Git, and software development methodologies
  • Understanding of static code analysis tools and automated build scripts, including Jenkins Server
  • Advanced knowledge obtained through a university degree combined with experience
  • University degree or equivalent
