About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development of strategies for materials planning and SIOP
  • Develop standardized materials planning and SIOP processes to optimize business resources and meet delivery expectations
  • Develop indicators for visibility into short- and long-term market trends and demand
  • Analyze demand streams and establish data relationship linkages
  • Collaborate with product development, sales, and marketing leaders to develop demand forecasts
  • Plan capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations
  • Facilitate monthly production volume planning using business forecasts, inventory position, customer orders, and capacity parameters
  • Develop new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability
  • Track metrics to drive results and continuous improvement
  • Develop processes and plans to improve supply capabilities
  • Establish metrics to measure progress through SIOP process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in a planning role
  • 3+ years of experience working in Microsoft Excel
  • OR Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience in a planning role
  • 3+ years of experience working in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (KetteQ, SAP, etc.)
  • Safety Stock Identification/Analysis
  • Lead time management/re-order point analysis
  • Power-BI experience
