About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the US/North America Command Center in Kennesaw
  • Engage internal Carrier and external customers for service discovery, definition, deployment, and ongoing operations
  • Co-own the overall P&L of US Command Center execution
  • Lead 2–3 direct reports and approximately 20 indirect technical support engineers
  • Design and run global delivery operations with teams in India and other geographies
  • Discover, define, develop, and deploy business processes spanning teams and geographies
  • Drive Command Center growth and best-in-class operations
  • Design services around people, process, technology, and commercial needs
  • Support contract and commercial design based on service and customer requirements
  • Participate in sales pursuits, RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, process design, effort/costing, customer visits, and tradeshows
  • Lead remote-service operations through setup, transition, stabilization, and ongoing operations
  • Drive operational and business efficiency through the global hybrid delivery model
  • Hire, develop, and mentor technical service managers, leaders, and engineers
  • Design and implement competency-development measures
  • Champion adoption of digitization, IoT, analytics, and service-management products and services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree
  • 10+ years of work experience in Energy Management Systems-related areas of system integration and/or remote services management for HVAC equipment
  • 5+ years of experience working with customers and internal stakeholders and capturing business needs, translating them into service solutions covering techno-process-commercial aspects
  • 5+ years of familiarity with HVAC equipment such as chillers, plants, and RTUs, and multiple control solutions including Tridium, Schneider, Honeywell, Trane, and Novar
  • 3+ years of Business Process Management experience covering discovery, definition, development, and deployment across teams and geographies
  • Preferably handled 2 to 3 multisite projects or large-site projects involving 2,000+ sites for Remote Energy Management System and/or System Integration
  • Experience managing supervisors and team leads
  • Global delivery experience
  • Excellent customer management and customer engagement skills
  • Understanding and exposure to project management and service management
  • Experience working with different internal teams and business-unit levels
  • Experience working with field service teams/vendors
