Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, plan and manage complex projects from ideation through delivery
Develop and own project plans, milestones, deliverables, resource availability and allocation
Resolve issues and implement mitigation actions proactively
Manage multiple complex projects concurrently with diverse stakeholders
Communicate project status, milestones and deliverables through clear, concise updates
Manage changes to project scope, plans and costs using appropriate project management approaches
Proactively manage stakeholder expectations based on stakeholder needs, roles and influence
Influence overall project strategies and their impact on Product & Technology
Actively manage project risks through transparent communication and mitigation actions
Maintain the internal project management tool
Collaborate with cross-functional Product & Technology and wider business teams to build consensus and deliver quality outcomes
Support the project intake process from ideation through planning and delivery
Foster trust, openness and collaborative relationships
Coach and mentor junior team members
Lead continuous improvement in ways of working, intake and project management processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years’ project management experience, ideally within a technology/software environment
Extensive experience leading multiple complex technology projects end-to-end across Product, Engineering and wider business teams
Proven experience managing project plans, scope, dependencies, risks, resources and budgets
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving delivery in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Strong project management capability; formal PM qualification preferred
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile and project delivery methodologies
Proven experience managing multiple complex projects and cross-functional stakeholders
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to manage ambiguity, solve complex problems and work independently with high accountability
Recognised Project Management qualification/certification preferred, e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Existing right to work in Ireland without requiring employment permit sponsorship
