About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the financial and budgetary control of implementation projects
Ensure the accuracy of records, compliance with deadlines, and adherence to contracts and company policies
Support the Senior Project Controlling Analyst, Project Controlling Management team, PMO, and Project Manager
Review and validate costs incurred by projects, ensuring compliance with contracts
Control and monitor project payment flows on both a cash and accrual basis, including updated forecasts and reporting
Liaise with business areas and internal clients, including Corporate Controlling, Treasury, Financial Structuring, and other departments
Support project-related accounting entries in accordance with applicable accounting practices and guidelines
Perform financial and accounting reconciliations, identifying and correcting discrepancies
Prepare periodic physical and financial progress reports for projects
Control project advances and offsets
Assist in analyzing debit and credit notes and their corresponding accounting entries
File controlling support documents in project drives until project closeout
Participate in developing action plans to mitigate financial and operational risks
Support the Project Controlling team with the unitization (asset inventory) schedule for wind farms entering operation
Actively participate in audits, ensuring the traceability and integrity of documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related field (required)
Postgraduate degree or MBA (preferred)
Specialization courses (preferred)
Previous experience with projects (preferred), controlling, accounting, tax, accounts payable, or related areas
Knowledge of the accounting close process and accounts payable reconciliations, internal controls, controlling, and auditing
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred, particularly the PS (Project System/Project Management) and FI/CO modules
Experience creating reports and presentations to address specific requests
