About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and optimize infrastructure across Azure and AWS
Administer and secure services including AKS, Docker Swarm, Azure Application Insights, Amazon ECS, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, ALB, API Gateway, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch
Identify cost-optimization opportunities as the platform scales
Develop and manage CI/CD automation for rapid and reliable software delivery
Drive adoption of vibe coding, agentic SDLC, and AIOps practices
Monitor system performance and observability metrics and improve availability and scalability
Implement security and compliance best practices
Collaborate with QA to define automated testing and deployment strategies
Collaborate with Development on integration and deployment of features and updates
Respond to and resolve system incidents while minimizing downtime
Manage infrastructure and deployment work, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to reliable releases
Improve platform reliability, scalability, observability, security, deployment efficiency, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing/deployment, and AI-enabled operational workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
Strong experience with Azure and AWS services and infrastructure as code
Solid familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly Docker
Experience operating modern SaaS web applications, including auto-scaling, load balancing, gateways, monitoring, observability, and secrets management
Experience with Azure and AWS infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CDK
Proven experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Github Action and Jenkins
Experience and knowledge of vibe coding, agentic software development lifecycle practices, and AIOps tools
Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in cloud environments
Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 web application security risks
Strong understanding of software security principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team and engage stakeholders across the organization
