About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive revenue growth from new Casepoint customers in the Department of Defense and Intelligence community
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities
  • Manage complex sales and buying processes
  • Demonstrate the value of Casepoint’s legal and compliance technology
  • Close deals and achieve individual sales targets
  • Develop and execute capture strategies for large strategic opportunities
  • Source, qualify, and develop opportunities through outbound email, telephone calls, inbound lead follow-up, and networking
  • Lead and support proposals and RFIs as Capture Manager
  • Develop executive summaries, proposal messaging, and other proposal sections
  • Work with Proposal Managers and team members to deliver compliant, compelling responses
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline of high-value, recurring-revenue, multi-year contracts
  • Build relationships with prospective customers to win contracts and referrals
  • Collaborate with marketing on sales-qualified leads and demand-generation feedback
  • Communicate with Account Management, Professional Services, Product, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Information Services
  • Assist sales colleagues in meeting goals
  • Qualify suspects, prospects, and opportunities according to Casepoint’s sales process
  • Maintain sales prospect information in Casepoint’s CRM
  • Drive sales from initial contact through close, including sales activities, proposals, and contracts
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to meet goals and standards
  • Maintain knowledge of Casepoint technology, innovation, and legal technology developments
  • Perform other duties assigned by the manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 7+ years of prior sales success in the legal technology market
  • Experience selling to the DOD and/or Intel Community
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and build rapport with potential clients
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Deep interest and experience in legal technology and sales in the US Government market
  • Dedicated team player who will work with others to reach a larger goal
  • Ability to learn and use new technology quickly with appropriate training and instruction
  • Strong organizational skills to keep contacts and schedules perfectly in order
  • Minimum BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Must reside in one of the listed eligible states
