About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, convert, repair, and remove ATMs, Air/Vac equipment, and other Cash Depot products
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
  • Troubleshoot electro-mechanical, hardware, and equipment issues
  • Perform ATM cash replenishment and coin removal services as scheduled
  • Complete software updates, diagnostics, and equipment testing
  • Partner with dispatch to complete service requests and installations
  • Maintain inventory and communicate parts and supply needs
  • Complete required service documentation accurately and on time
  • Meet department performance metrics related to efficiency, safety, and first-time fix rates
  • Maintain strong customer relationships
  • Represent Cash Depot professionally at customer locations
  • Communicate with dispatch, management, and customers
  • Support customer needs while ensuring security procedures are followed
  • Assist with training and ride-alongs for other technicians
  • Recommend process and efficiency improvements
  • Participate in ongoing technical training programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical equipment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to safely lift and move equipment required for the position
  • ATM, kiosk, vending, HVAC, telecommunications, or field service experience preferred
  • Technical troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Military, mechanical, maintenance, or service technician background preferred
  • Cash handling equipment experience preferred
  • Ability to lift parts and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs.
  • Extensive driving, customer-site visits, and working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
