About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including VB-MAPP, SSIS, FAST, Skills Streaming, and EFL
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results and ABA best practices
- Provide direct ABA services to clients, implementing interventions and teaching new skills
- Supervise and mentor caregivers and direct care staff to ensure treatment fidelity
- Provide ongoing support and training
- Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis
- Make data-based treatment plan adjustments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute clinical expertise
- Maintain accurate client records, progress notes, session notes, and assessment reports
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in client care
- Travel between offices, client homes, and multiple work sites as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field and 2 years of ABA experience required
- Candidates with at least 12 semester units in ABA may be considered if close to meeting the experience requirement
- Significant knowledge of ABA and familiarity with the field
- Knowledge of community resources and agencies serving children
- Experience implementing and/or designing ABA programs for individuals with ASD and other diagnoses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer software
- Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, lift up to 40 lbs, and spend time on feet
- Ability to manage physical and emotional demands, emergency situations, trauma, and constant client contact
- Occasional driving and travel to multiple work sites and client homes required
- Reliable transportation
- Valid California Driver's License with insurance and clean driving record
- Must pass health screenings, obtain required vaccinations, and clear TB testing
- Must obtain and maintain DOJ criminal record clearance
- Must obtain and maintain Office of Inspector General clearance
- Must obtain and maintain CPR, Safety Care, and NPI certifications
