Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Merchandise Accounts Payable tasks and manage end-to-end vendor and merchandise team inquiries
Analyze and resolve complex vendor issues
Provide timely communication and reporting to management
Use SQL and Excel to mine key data, build reports, and develop actionable metrics
Perform root-cause analyses
Implement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce costs
Work cross-functionally with various departments and multiple levels of management
Lead critical merchandise accounting projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–3 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or a related field
Knowledge of fundamental accounting procedures and principles
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent (Preferred)
Intermediate SQL/querying skills
Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically Excel
Strong analytical, decision-making, and critical thinking abilities
Basic accounting knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Adaptability and high organization
Proactive drive to learn
Proactive in setting goals, achieving results, and taking on new initiatives
