About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a key point of contact for Distribution Center and Logistics business areas
Participate as an active member of project teams delivering innovative solutions
Develop, maintain, and support in-house custom applications
Address production issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners to test software programs and applications
Follow the required system development life cycle
Participate in analysis, design, testing, training, and implementation phases for WMS and related logistics projects
Work independently or within defined project teams
Take direction from senior technical staff
Interact with all levels of management
Provide off-hours support for system issues
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-8 years of WMS Application Development experience with PKMS or equivalent WMS applications
Retail Industry experience preferred
BA/BS degree is required – Or the equivalent in work experience
Microsoft SQL Server, Java, XML, JSON, SQL, DTS/SSIS, and Stored Procedures
Microsoft Access, RPGLE, CL, DDS, Python, Visual Basic, C#
AS/400 (iSeries) knowledge
Experience with SDI Material Sorter HMIs, Loftware Nicelabel, or Cybra Mark Magic is a plus
Great verbal and written communication skills
Strong technical skills
Effective time management and organization skills
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Adhere to regular in-office presence
Ability to provide off-hours support as needed
