About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop proactive, data-driven financial analyses and actionable insights to improve store-level performance
Lead store-level annual planning, forecasting, and in-season variance analysis
Build business cases and ROI models for store investments, remodels, and strategic initiatives
Architect, streamline, and scale reporting tools and KPI dashboards
Support monthly close activities, including accruals, journal entries, variance analysis, and general ledger reviews
Partner with Store Operations and cross-functional leadership to provide financial guidance and drive change
Manage, mentor, and develop finance professionals; establish priorities and ensure accurate, timely deliverables
Prepare and deliver executive-ready financial presentations, analyses, and recommendations
Lead high-priority financial workstreams and special corporate projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of progressive finance, accounting, or retail operations management experience
Retail, hospitality, or multi-unit brand experience highly preferred
Deep expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and core corporate accounting processes
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Exceptional analytical skills and financial modeling capabilities
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, modeling, and automation
Intermediate-to-advanced PowerPoint skills
Ability to translate complex operational metrics into financial outcomes and business stories
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and senior leadership
Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a dynamic retail environment
