About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage placement and confirmation of all direct import buys
Research the development of new resources
Assist in resolving quality and delivery issues
Manage and execute brand or product category and report directly to the Director
Build strategic relationships with cross-functional partners, internal stakeholders, external suppliers and teams
Manage internal and external teams and Time and Action to deliver on IMU, quality and delivery goals
Conduct pre- and post-season analysis and present findings and actions to executive management
Maintain detailed product cost information (CIP, Fabric)
Negotiate program pricing and delivery
Monitor quality and delivery performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives
Manage move outs, cancellations, and liabilities
Complete special projects as assigned
Manage execution and drive performance of sourcing strategies across all functions

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-3 years of related experience in retail, apparel manufacturing, quality and trade agreements preferred
Strong communication skills and negotiation skills
Ability to build relationships cross-functionally
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task successfully and prioritize while meeting critical deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
