About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the garment fit process, including live model/mannequin sessions, construction evaluation, and pattern/grading revision analysis
  • Collaborate with Design and Product Development to recommend construction alternatives based on fit history
  • Partner with Design, Sourcing, and Merchandising to align fit intent, meet calendar deadlines, and maintain brand standards
  • Create, maintain, and manage detailed tech packs in Flex PLM, including measurement specs, tolerances, grading, fit photos, technical sketches, and construction details
  • Serve as the primary technical and fit-compliance contact for factories
  • Resolve fit and construction issues with International Buying Office and factories to meet development and production timelines
  • Improve garment fit and quality through customer-feedback analysis, competitive research, and block reviews
  • Track vendor samples, open packages, log received samples, and organize recurring fit invitations
  • Measure, prepare, and steam samples before fittings
  • Maintain organized seasonal sample storage

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of Technical Design experience required
  • Degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or related field is preferred
  • Experience working with multiple channels, including wholesale and discounters, is preferred
  • Deep knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, fabric performance, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with PLM systems; Flex PLM preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe applications, including Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel
  • CLO 3D and Gerber software training is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a trained eye for proportion, balance, and overall aesthetic
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, especially for vendor/factory correspondence
  • Executive presence and professionalism, with confidence and assertiveness in fit presentations
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Resolution-oriented problem-solving ability
  • Proactive, adaptable, and open to feedback
