About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write, edit, and post evergreen content, including operator reviews, as directed by the Content Lead
- Maintain understanding of brand guidelines and vertical requirements such as casino or sports
- Ensure content about partner operators complies with legal and regulatory standards
- Implement SEO best practices, including keyword integration, meta descriptions, and optimized headlines
- Create, edit, and publish content in the content management system
- Troubleshoot CMS-related issues and ensure correct formatting and presentation
- Use AI tools such as Claude and workflow automations for research, drafting, editing, and SEO optimization
- Fact-check, brand-align, and verify compliance of AI-assisted output before publishing
- Assign and manage freelance writer work, providing briefs, feedback, and quality control
- Follow SEO content briefs to update and optimize pages; produce content briefs as needed
- Build and edit webpages with a UX-first mindset
- Balance content assignments and consistently meet deadlines
- Perform other duties assigned by the Content Lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of three years of experience in web editing, writing, and publishing
- A two- or four-year college degree
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of AP style
- Ability to write and edit under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong eye for page layout and on-page user experience
- Past experience writing for the gaming industry and sports betting or online casino is preferred
- Experience working in WordPress is preferred
- Proficiency with, or strong willingness to learn, AI writing and editing tools such as Claude and content automation platforms
- Experience assigning, briefing, and reviewing work from freelance writers
- Sound judgment in determining when tasks require human authorship or subject-matter expertise versus AI-augmented approaches
- Deep understanding of brand guidelines and SEO best practices for affiliate marketing websites
- Ability to ensure content meets legal and regulatory standards
- Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality content at pace
