About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, test, and deploy production features end-to-end with minimal supervision
Integrate third-party point-of-sale APIs and build data pipelines feeding user-facing analytics
Implement AI-driven features using Claude and OpenAI APIs
Join planning and brainstorming sessions and provide feedback on larger feature initiatives
Triage and fix bugs reported through client Slack channels
Update software packages and patch security vulnerabilities
Maintain application uptime in Google Cloud Platform production environments
Set up schedulers, task queues, and cloud infrastructure for new features
Apply the team’s multi-worktree workflow in Claude Code and Codex
Run parallel workstreams across multiple projects while maintaining low defect rates
Maintain test coverage and code quality across parallel workstreams
Review pull requests and flag errors to the team
Report directly to the CTO and own features from planning through production monitoring

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–7 years of professional software engineering experience in production environments
Production experience with JavaScript and TypeScript across front-end and back-end code
Production experience building user-facing applications in React
Production experience building and deploying Node.js and Express APIs
Hands-on daily use of Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or equivalent agentic coding tools
Track record of owning features end-to-end, from design and testing through production deployment
English at C1+ CEFR level for daily communication with the CTO and client Slack channels
Next.js and MongoDB or another NoSQL database experience preferred
Google Cloud Platform infrastructure experience preferred
Claude API or OpenAI API embedded in production applications preferred
Data ingestion pipelines or analytics dashboards built from third-party API data preferred
Remote work experience with US-based teams preferred
