About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Connect IT/Cybersecurity training program participants with meaningful job opportunities, internships, and potential employers
  • Evaluate clients’ skills, work history, interests, strengths, and growth areas
  • Provide individualized coaching on resume writing, interview preparation, job searching and applications, and workplace culture
  • Teach effective job search strategies
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with HR managers, recruiting firms, career centers, and employers
  • Advocate for clients and match their skills with open positions
  • Assist clients through onboarding and hiring
  • Provide post-placement support to ensure job retention
  • Maintain case notes, track job placement metrics, and report data using designated databases
  • Work across community locations and office settings using computers and standard office equipment
  • Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, internal and external training, and professional development opportunities
  • Travel locally as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from native country in human resources, business administration, information technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in job placement and recruiting in the IT industry
  • Understanding of IT labor market requirements and trends
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with multicultural and multilingual populations is preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and Teams
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for local travel
