About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead CBRE Global Workplace Solutions' Facility Management business in Poland
- Set the strategic direction, operational performance and profitable growth of the division
- Lead and oversee overall performance, profitability and strategic development
- Develop and execute business plans supporting sustainable growth, operational excellence and customer retention
- Hold full Profit & Loss responsibility and achieve agreed financial, operational and commercial objectives
- Lead and develop a cross-functional leadership team spanning Regional Management, Finance, Human Resources, Sales & Business Development, Procurement and QHSE
- Provide leadership, coaching and direction to Regional Managers across Poland
- Ensure successful delivery of contractual obligations and service excellence across geographically dispersed customer sites
- Drive operational efficiency, innovation and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, industry partners and key stakeholders
- Support customer retention, account development, contract renewals and new business opportunities
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, business planning and performance management
- Monitor and influence operational, financial and commercial performance indicators
- Ensure governance, risk management and compliance with contractual, statutory and corporate requirements
- Champion safety, integrity, operational discipline and QHSE standards
- Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement and leadership development
- Foster a high-performance culture aligned with CBRE's RISE values
- Identify and resolve complex operational, commercial and organisational challenges
- Act as a key member of the Poland Leadership Team
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Facilities Management, Real Estate or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered
- Extensive senior leadership experience within Facilities Management, Integrated Facilities Management, Technical Services or a comparable operational environment
- Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a large-scale service organisation while delivering sustainable financial and operational performance
- Demonstrated experience with full Profit & Loss responsibility and accountability for business results
- Strong experience leading cross-functional management teams across Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Procurement and support functions
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and delivering services across multiple customer locations
- Strong commercial mindset with a proven ability to drive business growth, customer retention and operational excellence
- Experience building and maintaining executive-level relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in talent development, succession planning, coaching and building high-performing teams
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and align diverse groups around common objectives
- Strong financial and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate business insights into effective operational and commercial decisions
- Solid understanding of governance, compliance, risk management and QHSE principles within a service-oriented environment
- Highly organised, results-driven and capable of balancing strategic priorities with operational execution
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Fluent Polish and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Experience working within an international or matrix organisation
- Experience managing industrial, manufacturing, life sciences, technology or other complex FM environments
- Professional qualifications related to Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Management or Leadership
- Experience leading transformation, organisational change or operational improvement programmes
- Strong understanding of the Polish facilities management market and competitive landscape
