About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and lead the donor and benefactor relations strategy for CCFD-Terre Solidaire
  • Coordinate relationship-building and private resource development initiatives
  • Lead a team of 7
  • Define priorities and action plans, and organize and allocate activities
  • Support the team’s skills development and autonomy
  • Prepare and monitor the department budget
  • Lead activity and performance indicators
  • Oversee relationships with all donors and ensure the quality, consistency, and personalization of responses
  • Lead donor relationship tracking and reporting tools
  • Lead the major-gifts strategy and manage the most strategic relationships
  • Structure and manage donor portfolios, relationship journeys, meetings, and events
  • Develop fundraising activities with the Marketing and Innovation Department and monitor results
  • Define and lead the legacy giving development strategy
  • Support the management of legacy gifts and ensure the necessary resources, tools, and decisions are in place
  • Lead the development of corporate and foundation philanthropy
  • Coordinate prospect qualification, prospecting, and the identification of funding opportunities
  • Work with the departments responsible for social impact programs, particularly international partnerships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Higher education qualification
  • Proven professional experience managing relationships with major donors and legacy prospects, and developing corporate and foundation philanthropy
  • Experience in a management role
  • Strong command of donor and philanthropic relationship strategies
  • Knowledge of the specific characteristics of the nonprofit sector
  • Proficiency in using a CRM
  • Commitment to CCFD-Terre Solidaire’s values and interest in its nonprofit mission
  • Strong listening and empathy skills
  • Responsiveness and availability

  • Strong ability to coordinate teams and projects
