About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and nurture long-lasting customer relationships focused on retention, revenue, and relationship growth
  • Lead onboarding and go-live readiness for new customers, including pickup schedules, communication channels, EDI requirements, and use of CCFS technology and services
  • Work cross-departmentally to resolve customer concerns, maintain service levels, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Serve as the company-customer point of contact for escalated concerns and deliver strategic solutions
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with customer business objectives
  • Establish proactive data analysis and monitoring processes for customer accounts
  • Identify systemic operational defects using performance dashboards and customer feedback, and quantify impact and retention risk
  • Develop and facilitate regularly scheduled Strategic Business Reviews with customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in account management and/or relevant industry experience
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to get along with diverse personalities
  • Ability to adapt with changing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under limited supervision
  • Extensive knowledge of principles, procedures, and best practices in the transportation industry
  • Understanding of effective collaboration among operations, sales, and customers
  • Strategic problem-solving ability aligned with customer needs and organizational objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to work irregular hours when necessary
