About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate user-facing content, system labels, forms, workflows, and communications from English to Canadian French
  • Support French localization of CCIB’s new CRM platform and future digital systems
  • Contribute to translation and quality review of content for a new organizational website
  • Develop and maintain terminology guides, glossaries, and translation standards
  • Review translations for accuracy, consistency, readability, and cultural relevance
  • Test translated content within systems to ensure functionality, formatting, and user experience are maintained in both official languages
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to clarify terminology and context
  • Provide recommendations to improve bilingual user experiences across systems and platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current Ontario university student enrolled in Translation, Interpretation, Linguistics, French Studies, or a related program
  • 4th year university student in Translation, Interpretation, Linguistics, French Studies, or a related field
  • Professional-level written French (Canada)
  • Strong English language skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy
  • Ability to adapt content for diverse audiences while maintaining meaning and intent
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote environment
  • Interest in technology, digital platforms, user experience, and localization
  • Experience with terminology management or content management systems is considered an asset
  • Available for a flexible 4–12 month internship
  • Must be located anywhere in Ontario
