About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Track and collect patient account payments from insurance providers
- Manage patient accounts receivable processes
- Minimize outstanding receivables and maximize revenue efficiency
- Support inter-company patients with insurance, account status, and billing questions
- Record all patient interactions and account task updates
- Keep patient statement balances current
- Process and post insurance payments received
- Coordinate billing for insurance-covered procedures according to business office policy
- Complete appeals and send documentation for incorrect, low, or denied insurance reimbursements
- Foster positive relationships with vendors, patients, and customers through professional payment interactions
- Perform other specific duties as assigned
- Report to the RCM Supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ year in insurance reconciliation and working with insurance providers
- Previous experience in reproductive medicine or Women’s health is preferred
- Prior experience with calling insurances and EIVF preferred
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, on a rotating basis
- Eligibility and authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of CCRM Fertility’s onboarding process
- Ability to communicate with others and work on a computer
- Ability to spend prolonged periods preparing and analyzing data and figures
- Close visual acuity for viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading
- Ability to operate standard office machines and equipment, including computer, telephone, photocopier, and scanner
