About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-profile, strategic CDP customers
  • Ensure customer retention through understanding customer needs and maintaining client satisfaction
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and develop greenfield sales opportunities
  • Prepare and present customized business proposals and presentations
  • Influence market renewal strategies with the Market Director
  • Develop renewal plans, set targets, and monitor performance against objectives
  • Mentor junior team members on strategy development and execution
  • Negotiate renewals, licences, and contracts
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback
  • Manage sales pipeline and forecasting in Dynamics 365
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline status, and key metrics to senior management
  • Represent CDP at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate across teams to maintain an up-to-date customer picture and internal communication
  • Improve business development processes and strategies
  • Participate in regular 1:1s and performance and development conversations
  • Promote a respectful, inclusive workplace and live CDP values

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrable experience in renewals, customer retention, sales, or a related field
  • Subject matter expertise preferably within ESG, sustainability or the environmental sector
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and identify opportunities
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience selling to financial or non-financial corporates
  • Understanding of customers' internal teams responsible for purchase decisions
  • Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in one or more local languages
  • Candidates must live within a commutable distance of the local office
  • Comfortable working 2 days in the office per week
  • CV must be uploaded in English
