About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development of methodologies and best practices to measure data quality across CDP
  • Support and develop data cleansing solutions to address quality issues
  • Help develop and operationalise dashboards to monitor data improvement
  • Work with colleagues to define data quality metrics and reporting to resolve issues
  • Help develop and maintain data quality reports supporting improvements in specific data domains
  • Promote a data-first attitude toward data quality and governance across CDP
  • Participate in regular 1:1s and performance and development conversations
  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive workplace
  • Work with internal stakeholders including CDP Data Owners, Stewards, Custodians and Users
  • Work with external stakeholders including CDP Disclosers, Requesters, Data Users, and other customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience working in Data Science or Data Analytics, ideally with a focus on data quality improvement
  • High coding capabilities in SQL
  • Ability to present technical content to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of applying data quality approaches to resolve issues
  • Exposure to Power BI or similar tools, used to communicate findings
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong English language skills, including good reading comprehension skills
  • A proactive team-player
  • Eligible to work legally in the UK
  • Must live within a commutable distance of the London office
  • Comfortable with 2 days in the office per week
  • Unable to obtain visa sponsorship for this role
  • Desirable: second language skill
  • Desirable: experience of working within global organisations
  • Desirable: experience with Python
  • Desirable: experience working according to agile project/product management
