About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the strategic direction, development, positioning, and continuous improvement of CDW's AI advisory consulting portfolio
Develop advisory standards, estimating models, delivery guides, sales enablement materials, thought leadership, and reusable assets
Monitor AI advisory market trends, customer needs, regulatory considerations, ethical standards, and adoption patterns
Educate sales teams, support opportunity qualification, and lead complex AI advisory pursuits
Facilitate executive conversations, discovery sessions, and workshops
Develop proposals, Statements of Work, Letters of Understanding, business cases, RFP responses, estimates, and change request scopes
Advise customers on AI strategy, governance, operating models, adoption, prioritization, roadmaps, and business value realization
Translate customer objectives into actionable use cases, roadmaps, financial considerations, adoption approaches, and operating recommendations
Partner with technical solution groups and partners to develop integrated AI solutions
Evaluate solution viability, challenge assumptions, identify risks, and collaborate with technical specialists
Ensure advisory delivery quality, solution standards, delivery approach, risk management, and methodology adherence
Review and approve key AI advisory deliverables
Serve as an escalation point for solution-related delivery challenges
Participate in project delivery and provide advisory expertise and project oversight
Meet billable utilization targets for project oversight
Recommend project staffing
Develop and execute a professional development plan
Mentor and coach delivery and presales team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in artificial intelligence, AI strategy, AI governance, data science, machine learning, analytics, or related technology consulting disciplines, or 14 years of experience in these disciplines
Experience with AI governance, organizational change management, operating model design, responsible AI considerations, and business adoption planning
Understanding of AI technologies, data foundations, architectures, and implementation approaches
Experience translating business objectives into AI advisory strategies, use cases, roadmaps, governance considerations, adoption approaches, and operating recommendations
Executive-level communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Ability to understand customer needs, shape advisory solutions, and lead challenging conversations
Ability to build and communicate actionable strategic plans
10+ years of consulting experience, a plus
Experience developing advisory offerings, consulting methodologies, service frameworks, or go-to-market assets, a plus
Experience supporting complex presales pursuits, executive discovery, and consulting solution positioning, a plus
Relevant certifications or professional development in AI, governance, enterprise architecture, data, transformation, or related advisory disciplines, a plus
