About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review customer work orders and assess user-reported computer issues
  • Test and evaluate customer devices to determine appropriate repairs
  • Perform electronic device repairs, including hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot customer hardware and software issues while following proper procedures
  • Set up, repair, or replace computer hardware and associated devices
  • Follow quality-control standards and complete required device checks
  • Move across K–12 teams to support training on multiple device types and stay current with OEM requirements
  • Meet established production goals while upholding quality-control standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience as a computer technician or in a similar IT role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a production-focused environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, walk and carry products in any combination for up to 8 hours at a time
  • History of balancing competing priorities and adapting to changing business needs while meeting deadlines
  • Comfort working in a warehouse environment with temperature changes, conveyor and forklift noise
  • Ability to work 1st shift, 7am–3:30pm CST
  • Long-term contract opportunity
