About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a thought leader for the FP&A team, business segments, and channels, driving ad hoc accounting and finance projects
  • Manage FP&A team members, providing leadership, guidance, and development opportunities
  • Ensure planning and budgeting practices and procedures are appropriate and continuously advance the team’s analytical toolkit
  • Own practice-level P&Ls, reconciling delivery and project data from operational systems to financials and driving standardization across system sources
  • Partner with the Services FP&A team to build and maintain core services and solutions operating metrics, including backlog, utilization, attach rate, and project margin
  • Translate financial results into forward-looking insights for senior leadership
  • Provide business operations support, including month-end transaction processing and related administrative and operational responsibilities
  • Compile and review the organization’s financial plan and forecasts
  • Provide financial planning and analytical support to business partners
  • Deliver regular business performance reporting to C-suite and senior management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of Finance/Accounting experience
  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles and ability to apply them in business analysis
  • Experience supporting technology and/or services-centric P&Ls
  • Expertise in project-based revenue recognition, cost management, and operational KPI analysis preferred
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Workday Adaptive experience preferred
  • Proven team leadership skills and ability to build productive cross-functional relationships
  • Track record of identifying process and system improvements and leading successful implementations
  • Successful history of developing and maintaining financial models
  • Comfortable exploring how AI can enhance strategy, decision-making, and team performance
