About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide timely and accurate financial reports, analysis and recommendations to technology leaders
- Assist in developing the technology financial plan, including forecasting
- Create operational financial reports for TE&S to optimize resource allocation and utilization
- Build partnerships with internal customers and cross-functional teams
- Prepare analysis supporting technology projects and organizational growth
- Recommend improvements to reporting and analysis processes
- Support system capacity and resource planning, as well as cost modeling
- Analyze, plan and present financial information related to the Technology Portfolio to Finance and Technology leadership
- Collaborate on capacity, resource and cost models to support portfolio decisions
- Report to the Senior Manager, Portfolio Enablement and interact with Finance Business Partners, Portfolio Management, Vendor Management Office, Program Management Office and Technology leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years previous finance experience, or 9 years of previous finance experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of finance concepts, principles and practices
- Strong analytical skills
- Organization and planning skills with critical attention to detail
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Power BI
- Ability to present data effectively to stakeholders
- Track record of identifying process improvements and making recommendations
- Consensus-building abilities with stakeholders
- Understanding of GAAP and non-GAAP accounting concepts, including NGOI, CAPEX and OPEX planning
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, Essbase and Hyperion
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow; SAFe, Intake and PM modules beneficial
- MBA, CPA, Lean Six Sigma Certification, Lean Portfolio Management and SAFe Agile practices are a plus
- Preferred experience within a technology company is a plus
