About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Promote the integration of quality processes throughout the company’s value chain
- Serve as a technical reference and champion of the quality culture
- Develop and disseminate practices, methodologies, standards, and tools for business areas
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose actions to prevent issues, standardize and simplify processes, and increase control effectiveness
- Develop and monitor quality indicators
- Lead strategic projects related to the maturity of the Quality Management System
- Provide consulting support to Product, Commercial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Customer Relationship Center (CRC), and other partner areas
- Ensure the maintenance, updating, and proper application of internal quality procedures, policies, standards, and requirements
- Lead internal and external audits and monitor the effectiveness of action plans
- Promote training for internal teams and suppliers
- Support the development of the supplier chain in implementing quality requirements, controls, and best practices
- Conduct root cause analyses, develop action plans, and lead foundational projects to address deviations and recurring issues
- Benchmark processes, technologies, and management models
- Lead and develop the team, fostering learning, collaboration, and high performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Production Engineering, Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management, or Fashion, with solid experience in quality and production processes
- Postgraduate degree in Quality Management, Process Management, Production Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher (preferred)
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement (preferred)
- Experience with process mapping, review, and standardization (preferred)
- Knowledge of quality tools: PDCA, MASP, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, FMEA, SPC, and 5W2H (preferred)
- Experience with internal audits, action plans, and indicator management (preferred)
- Experience in retail, the textile industry, apparel manufacturing, or the supply chain (preferred)
- Ability to deliver training, facilitate workshops, and influence different areas and levels of the organization (preferred)
- Availability to work in a hybrid format in Barueri, São Paulo, Brazil
