About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support institutional development and community engagement efforts through writing and editing projects
- Plan and implement multimedia communication strategies
- Write proposals, stewardship reports, campaign content, event invitations and collateral, executive and Board member remarks, and other communications
- Contribute content for education programs, websites, publications, blog posts, and patient stories
- Implement communication materials for special projects and events
- Write, edit, and publish content for internal and external customers
- Develop communication plans and coordinate production of communication materials, collateral, and proposals
- Build relationships with cross-functional partners to plan and implement communications support
- Manage projects from development to completion, including schedules, timelines, budgets, invoices, check requests, and invoice payments
- Maintain a master development communications drop calendar and collateral archive
- Submit project tickets through a project management system such as Asana
- Execute projects supporting fundraising and campaign goals across print, digital, and web media
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, marketing, public relations, media relations or another relevant major is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience writing, editing, delivering in-depth content, project management or related communications experience required.
