About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as liaison between Cedars-Sinai specialty programs and patients
- Provide patients with care-plan details and ensure timely scheduling of clinical appointments
- Arrange non-patient care services
- Accompany patients to appointments and visit patients in the hospital
- Assist patients in navigating CSMC systems and processes
- Ensure all non-clinical needs are arranged and met
- Manage post-discharge processes, including providing medical reports, physician instructions, and discharge prescriptions
- Research and maintain current knowledge of Cedars-Sinai specialty services
- Assist with medical record requests, pre-admission paperwork, appointment/test/procedure scheduling and follow-up
- Provide personalized concierge services to ensure patient satisfaction
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related major preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience functioning in a concierge/liaison role or equivalent required
- Understanding and demonstration of cultural sensitivity
