About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a clinical, operational, and strategic pharmacy leader in building and advancing a comprehensive Cellular and Gene Therapy program across the health system
  • Design infrastructure, governance, workflows, and partnerships for evaluating, procuring, coordinating, administering, and monitoring CGT products
  • Work with physicians, pharmacists, laboratory and research teams, finance leaders, and other stakeholders
  • Translate innovative therapies into accessible, efficient, and patient-centered care
  • Identify emerging opportunities and support strategic planning for new therapies, technologies, indications, and treatment models
  • Help shape the future of therapy delivery at Cedars-Sinai
  • Contribute to the safe, equitable, and financially responsible growth of CGT services
  • Advance the organization’s clinical, academic, and research missions
  • Provide inpatient staffing one weekend per month

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pharm.D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Completion of a PGY1 residency or equivalent practice experience
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California
  • BLS certification upon hire
  • Passion for advancing innovative therapies for patients with rare and difficult to treat conditions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex clinical, operational, financial, and scientific information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strategic, forward-looking perspective on the cellular and gene therapy pipeline
  • Comfort working in an evolving environment where evidence, processes, and best practices continue to develop
  • Excellent clinical database and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to provide recommendations on management of complex patients using organizational policies and evidence-based medicine
  • Commitment to equitable access to complex, high-cost therapies
  • Experience in drug information services and formulary development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects to meet goals
