About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete a 12-month Talent Development Program within Cemex USA’s Cement division
- Rotate through Cement Manufacturing, Process Improvements, Quality and Reliability, Equipment Maintenance, Production Process, and Data Management
- Participate in project-based learning and contribute to real operational projects
- Complete safety training and help ensure safety standards are met or exceeded
- Develop technical, transferable, and leadership skills through hands-on work, training, and mentorship
- Build relationships and network with peers, mentors, and leaders across Cemex business lines
- Contribute innovative ideas and continuous-improvement initiatives in Cement operations
- Collaborate across Aggregates, Cement, Ready-Mix/Concrete, and Supply Chain functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recent bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic/Manufacturing Engineering, Mining/Materials Science Engineering, or a related field
- GPA of 2.5 or above; GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
- Proficiency in analytical and presentation skills
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in the heavy or manufacturing industry preferred, including placements, co-op programs, internships, or university projects
- Willingness to relocate within the U.S. if needed
- Ability to work full-time and travel based on rotation requirements
- Ability to work in office and outdoor industrial operations settings
